READ THE RULES
If you do not read/obey the rules you will get banned. Minor first time rule violations will get probations ranging from a few hours to a few days, everything else will most likely get you banned forever. Admins' decisions are final and will not be discussed.
Lurk before Posting
This is the most important rule of all. Anybody new to the forums should lurk around a bit before making a post. Try to figure out where certain kind of topics belong to. Chances that there already is a thread on the topic you want to write about might be higher than you thought.
Posting
Keep your post or reply funny, informative, interesting, and, most importantly, relevant. Try to contribute to ongoing conversations and offer help or advice when appropriate. Use proper English! Anything like "l33t sp33k", "OMG AWESOME WTF!!11", etc. is bannable. No Spam!
Useless posts
Search before posting! Put some effort in your posts, try to make it appealing to others by formatting it nicely or offering extra information. Do not make a post just to introduce yourself, everybody will know you eventually.
Contained Conflict
Do not make any posts that may insult somebody or lead to unnecessary flame-wars.
Admin Sass
Insulting an admin or a moderator will get you permabanned immediately.
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY
No warez. No warez, no cracks, no CD codes, no illegal programs that are used to either crack software or perform any malicious activity.
No pirated filez. Don't post, ask for or talk about links to download illegal copies of copyrighted works, including movies, books, software, mp3s, etc.
No links to any sites containing said material or links to it, not in your signature, not in your profile, not in your posts, not anywhere.
There is zero tolerance on this.
